ASC Administrator
Positions open in Bayside, NY (North Queens Surgical Center) and Union, NJ
The Administrator is responsible for the overall administration and organization of the surgery center by planning and directing all functions and activities associated with business, financial, and clinical activities. These activities may include but are not limited to: accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, general accounting, risk management, regulatory compliance, purchasing and inventory, telecommunications, business development, information systems, medical records, contract negotiations and personnel.
Full time position, Mon-Fri. Excellent benefit package. Compensation commensurate with experience. EOE.
Requirements:
Ideal candidate is RN with Masters Degree in business or healthcare, as well as operating room experience. ASC management experience and current New York RN license required. Position requires knowledge and experience with licensure, AAAHC accreditation, financial management, managed care negotiations and finance, including working knowledge of accounting software (Quick Books), and experience in third party payer negotiations.
Ability to multi-task and function well under pressure/deadlines are essential to success in this position. Candidate must be detail-oriented and have effective management/problem solving skills and professional and positive interpersonal skills.

Monday through Friday- flexible hours; No Holidays, Weekends, or Call. Full Time or Per Diem positions that may convert to full time as center case volume grows. EOE
Must have relevant surgical experience for surgery center specialties (Orthopedics/Podiatry, GS, ENT, Ophthalmology, GI, Pain Management, Plastics), a current New York RN license and ACLS, PALS and BLS certification.

Must have circulating experience; the ability to scrub a plus. ACLS/PALS certification required within 6 months of hire. Full time (32 hours) Monday through Friday; no holidays, weekends, or call. EOE.

NJ licensed RN needed for fast paced multi-specialty Surgery Center. Knowledge in Podiatry, GI, Ortho, ENT and General procedures. Experience with BLS/ACLS preferred.
