ASCOA Principals Named ‘Physician Leaders to Know’
The physician-owners and founders of Ambulatory Surgical Centers of America (ASCOA) were included in a recent list of “ASC Industry Physicians Leaders to Know”, published by Becker’s ASC Review.
Thomas Bombardier, MD, FACS is a founding member of Ambulatory Surgical Centers of America in Hanover, Mass. The ophthalmologist previously created two ASCs and founded the largest ophthalmic practice in Western Massachusetts. Dr. Bombardier is also involved in real estate as a developer on Cape Cod, Mass.
Brent Lambert, MD, FACS, is the principal as well as the founder of Ambulatory Surgical Centers of America, an ASC management company based in Hanover, Mass. Dr. Lambert is responsible for business development at ASCOA. Dr. Lambert founded XONIX, an international medical instrument company. He has published numerous articles on cellular membrane physiology. He is a board-certified ophthalmologist. Before founding ASCOA, Dr. Lambert was the developer and owner of three ASCs, including one of New England’s first ASCs.
George Violin, MD, FACS is an ophthalmologist, is one of the pioneers in small incision cataract and implant surgery in Massachusetts. Dr. Violin is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a charter member of the American College of Eye Surgeons. He completed his residency at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.
